FAQs on Biofeedback and the EPFX-SCIO Biofeedback Device
Is this a diagnostic device?
No, the SCIO is not fully diagnostic for several reasons. It will sometimes detect resonances which are not your own, but those of someone physically or emotionally close to you. This means we must work together to separate your energy from yoiur pet's energy. As biofeedback practitioners, we are unable to diagnose or treat disease using the device unless we are also medical doctors. This is why it is advisable to consult your physician to verify or monitor any conditions the device may be detecting.
Can the SCIO cure disease?
The developers of the SCIO device cannot make any claims regarding cures for disease. We note only that the body has a natural ability to heal itself when given the correct conditions. The SCIO is approved for stress reduction and relaxation and as such, has a role to play in eliminating the barriers to good health. It does this by targeting very specific stressors it detects in the body and its electrical field.
Will my pet feel anything during the therapy?
Since the SCIO most clients feel no sensation at all, we know this from our human clients. Those sensitive to frequency may experience a slight tickle or tingling sensation periodically under the straps, but even enough to be uncomfortable, just an awareness. If your pet is not connected to the device, you might notice them acting more "aware".
How quickly can I expect results for my pet's condition?
This is entirely dependent on the pet’s condition. Your pet's age, temperament and overall physical condition will play into the results. Usually, we suggest that the pet should experience three or four sessions to achieve best results.
How many sessions will maintain optimum health for my pet?
Some pets need just a few sessions over a period of a few weeks with a follow up session every four to six weeks. Others with more acute or chronic conditions will need more intensive and protracted therapy.
How frequently can my pet have a session?
The body requires 72 to 100 hours to fully integrate the frequencies it receives in a regular session and repeating a scan within this period is not recommended for that reason. So, the shortest interval between sessions is usually one week. In emergency situations therapy can continue as needed. Be sure your pet has access to fresh water at all times!
What safety features are in place to protect my pet from harm?
Quantum biofeedback is a very safe and non-invasive therapy with few safety concerns. The SCIO is protected by a high quality surge-protector to guard against electrical hazard and is a self-monitoring and self-adjusting device, taking its cues from the body's electrical signals as therapy proceeds. Alarms are activated when the client has had enough of any one therapy, alerting the practitioner to switch to a different therapy or stop for the day.
Can I purchase my own SCIO?
Of course you can, just ask Kelly for all the info.
